Magical Readathon 2020!!
I can’t believe how much fun it was to complete this readathon! I had left starting this challenge till quite late in the month, which meant I had to read a book a day to be able to finish in time, and I managed to get my O.W.L.s complete!! To be reminded of the challenge, check out this post!

Ancient Runes
Heart Rune: Heart on the cover or in the title
Book choice: Matters of the Heart by Danielle Steel
I haven’t had the chance to read this book in such a long time, so it was really nice being able to have the time and a reason to read this again.
Arithmancy
Magical qualities of 2: Balance/opposites – read something outside your favourite genre
Book choice: Stardust by Neil Gaiman
This is a new book for me! I had watched the film, but I absolutely love but the book! My gosh, it really brought a new side to the characters!! I definitely preferred the book.
Care of Magical Creatures
Hippogriffts: Creature with a beak on the cover
Book choice: Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban
As said before, how could I not read this book?!
Charms
Lumos Maxima: White cover
Book Choice: The White Princess by Philippa Gregory
I have a fascination with the Tudor period of history since I was in school, from learning about Henry VIII. Philippa Gregory takes a historical period and individuals and turns their lives and the story behind them into a tale that is easy to understand and read. After I read this book, I ended up researching about the Tudor line as the book left me wanting to know more.
Herbology
Minbulus Mimbletonia: Title starts with an M
Book Choice: Mirror, Mirror by Jen Calonita
A classical Disney Tale, made twisted into what could have happened if Snow wasn’t poisoned but the Prince was instead. Highly recommend!!
All in all, I loved this readathon! I can’t wait to start the N.E.W.Ts in August to be a Wandmaker!

Happy Reading 🙂
